JOINING GUIDE

► FIRST THINGS FIRST

We'd like to officially welcome you to our site, ONCE BURNED. We're an original superpowersl roleplay that takes place in the fictional city of Stagfort, Oregon. We've made this handy guide to make the joining and application process easier for you. First things first, though: Here's a few links you should probably check out before you get started - if you haven't already.

If you like what we have to offer and you're willing to comply to the rules, then join! You can register with whatever name you want, but you're going to have to change your display name to your character's first and last name, properly capitalized. We're a one account per character here.

► APPLICATION PROCESS

We offer two sets of applications here, one basic and one freeform. Keep in mind that the freeform application should not be used as a simplified version of the basic, but instead, it's there for those who prefer writing creative and unique applications, instead of the "list your characters strength and weaknesses here" kind.

We accept WIP (work in progress) applications - all new applications must be put in the pending section. Your application must be finished within two weeks and when the two weeks have passed without it being finished, it will be moved to the declined folder for another week and then finally, be moved to the staff section. Don't worry, though, you can have your application moved back whenever by asking one of the staff members to move it for you.

Once your application is finished, bump it by replying to the thread. Once this is done, a staff member will look at your application as soon as they can and review it. Normally, apps go straight to acceptance, but some might need some editing. You'll then get a PM from the staffer and be asked for the changes necessarily for the app to be accepted. Once edited, bump the application again and a staff member will take another look. This process will be repeated until the application is accepted.

► ACCEPTANCE

Once your character has been accepted, please remember to do your claims. Keep in mind that whoever reserves or claims any of the claims has the right to them, so don't forget to reserve or claim your face claim or position.
