Bobby's ability allows him to obtain an object's or person's historical knowledge or experiences:

• Able to pick up knowledge in the form of intuition, visuals, sounds, or scents (no control over what form the information will come to him as of yet; requires a level of understanding and control not yet achieved)
• In some cases, is able to use the information gathered to increase related skills (Bobby does not inherit the skill, he only obtains the knowledge to potentially gain a/more skill such as cooking, fighting, computer programming, etc.)
• Bobby must use his hands to use his abilities; the more concentration, the clearer the information

LIMITATIONS:
Bobby has several limitations on his power due to his age, control, and the overall characteristics of his ability:

• Can only pick up on residual imprints left by living creatures in regards to unanimate objects (human imprints easiest to read, animals second, plants the hardest)
• The more recent the imprinted memory on an item or person, the better he is able to "read" or experience it
• Information gathered is subjective: he can see and obtain the information as his own, but he cannot know the thoughts or feelings the person or thing experienced at that particular time.
• Cannot read people or objects that have psychic shields or immunity (since Bobby is picking up on the imprinted psychic energy or "memory")
• Can only safetly focus on one aspect of a memory at a time; can become overwhelmed with objects or people with lots of traumatic or intense events attached to its history (eg. certain historical objects, people who have suffered abuse, etc.)
• Power is controlled based on Bobby's calmness (the more emotional, the less control he has of his power)
• Can only activate his power via touch of his hands (gloves or bandage creates a "haze" and often makes it hard to understand information he is trying to obtain)

SIDE-EFFECTS:
Side effects of this power can appear through over-use, reading an item or person with lots of history, or when loss of control is induced:

• Will receive headaches while using power; severity is based on the strain of picking up information, how much information is absorbed at one time, and the type of information gathered (info that comes in the form of visuals, for example, is more strenuous than those that come as sounds)
• Exhaustion of power will require sleep or he will get sick due to a decreased immune system (this is a result of the psychic and psychological stress of his power)
• Suffers from paranoia and depression resulting from his ability- when he has no control he will experience things he may wish he did not (afraid to touch things at times)
• Temporal-spacial disorientation can occur with the more intense information gained; if information comes as just "a knowing" or vision, Bobby can become quite disorientated and, as a result, psychologically distressed 
• Bobby can suffer more major side-effects due to over use or over-exhaustion: migraines, nosebleeds, depressive episodes, comas, or even severe illnesses due to the associated stress

MISC: Has several piercings:  snake bite, right eyebrow, bridge of nose, left ear has 3 lobes (one a 00g plug), an industrial, tragus pierced, and his right ear has a single lobe pierced. Of course, the teen has his tongue, nipples, and bellybutton pierced as well. Unrelated to body modification, Bobby has a long scar that runs down his left forearm.

Overview: Bobby is a perfectionist if there ever was any. In fact, he is more prone to procrastination and avoiding responsibilities as a result of this trait. The poor teen wants all he produces and creates to be perfect. He must be perfect. However, his anger or depression can lead him to create purposefully bad material in spite of people who he feels are judging or disappointed in him. Bobby's anger has also led him down a path of trouble in his past. Sarcasm is Bobby's armour. He'll use it to defend himself, to joke with others, or any variation of social interaction. Bobby has a sensitive nature. His sensitivity can be both good and bad (althought he would tell you it's bad all the time). He tends to react emotionally in many situations whether it be anger, sadness, excitement, fear. This leads him very vulnerable to insults and offenses of any sort. 

If Bobby is one thing, it's headstrong. If he truly desires something or has a certain outcome in mind, he will work his butt off with an almost uncharacteristic determination in order to achieve it. Even if it means taking a few risks. The teen is quite daring (or, more accurately, reckless). He has been known to take risks that put his physical wellbeing in danger, or his relationships with, well, anyone. This risktaking tendancy has done nothing useful for his rebellious side. Ever since he was young, Bobby liked to rebel against his mother and "the Man". And does it come to no surprise to find out he's undogmatic?

♦ THE HISTORY ♦

Childhood
Bobby was born Montgomery Robert Erikson on June 20, 2001. For the first five years of his life, he lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba but only has a handful of memories of this time. The most prominent of memories is that of his father leaving him and his mother. Even to this day his father isn't spoken about. The only bits of information Bobby, known as Monty at this time, 

Monty developed his love for climbing things during his elementary school days. He would climb trees, fences, sheds, buildings, and most things that he was able to.
