POWER: Partial Animal Shapeshifting
The ability to morph certain parts of the body to resemble and function like the body parts of an animal. Usually it’s concentrated to a maximum of three parts of the body at a time, and can be manipulated with some effort, yet sometimes they seem to have their own agenda. Eric will also morph under times of great stress/excitement. Doesn’t that make a FUN fetish, huh ladies? The reptiles aspects Eric can morph include:

Most Common:
Snake Fangs: These come along with the venom sacks (explained in the limitations) and are located between the canine and the tooth before the incisors. Eric's fangs do indeed look like snake fangs, being quite slender and almost curvaceous as well about the length of a little more than half an inch. (Can hold for a max of 10 minutes comfortably, and up to 30 minutes quite painfully)
Slitted Eyes: Mainly esthetic, this morph consists of the pupils lengthening till they become slits, in a diamond shape, much like the ball python yet a slightly bit thinner. (Can hold for a max of 1 hour)
Snake Tongue: The tongue essentially lengthens and forks, darkening its color slightly and thinning out. (Can hold for a max of 10 minutes)
Snake Tail: A long snake tail, extending from the tailbone, down to behind the knees. Coloration tends to mimic the albino ball python, due to Sookie. This appendage can be controlled with a good amount of effort. (Can hold for a max of 10 minutes)

Rare:
Dragon Claw: Based on the Komodo Dragon, the hands become covered in scales and the fingers morph into long black claws. Coloring resembles Komodo Dragon. (Can hold for a max of 1 minute)
Chameleon Coloring: Patches of skin, mainly on cheeks and palms, change coloring when Eric feels threatened or excited. He has little control over this power and it's a rare one. Coloring tends to stick to dark red, green and blue scaly patterns. (Can hold for a max of 30 seconds)
Crocodile Skin Armor: Patches of skin, mainly on the back of the arms, shoulders, and knees become tough like crocodile skin. Must exert a good amount of concentration for this. Coloring follows the Nile Crocodile. (Can hold for a max of 30 seconds)

LIMITATIONS:
Eric’s powers are concentrated in the reptile capacity, more specifically snakes. His abilities are quite limited. The slitted eyes are mostly for looks. But he has the ability to develop a forked tongue, which works for detecting scents that are in a close half km range. And fangs which do produce a weak poison but to produce such a thing he must also morph the necessary venom sacks deep in his upper gum tissue, which causes discomfort and pain. The venom is unable to kill, but able to paralyze concentrated zones of the body. For example, the face, hands, feet, and may even reach halfway to the elbow/knee if enough dosage is administered, The morphing can last from a couple of minutes to a few seconds, depending on the effort given. They also tend to go out of control in highly stressful situations, which does end up with a surprising amount of Eric hitting himself in the face with his reptilian tail. Constantly.

SIDE-EFFECTS:
During the morph, there might be discomfort or pain that fades once the morphing is complete. Yet if lacking concentration the process of morphing can be a long painful one. After the morph, the side-effects can include scratchy, flaky skin and if a certain part, like a tail, was grown then he may experience phantom limb for a while, as in he’ll feel as if it is still there. Sometimes there will be patches of scaly skin left over, which will be a real pain to remove.

Specific side effects:

Snake Fangs: These push when they come in causing mild discomfort, bleeding gums, and slightly crooked canines over time. Venom sacks in the gums cause discomfort for a couple days after the morph.
Slitted Eyes: Least painful change. Generally presents as a pain in the back of the eyeballs and slight headache.
Snake Tongue: Lack of taste for 24 hours after morph. Dry tongue.
Snake Tail: A case of phantom limb, he might think it's there but it's really not. Feels kind of weird.
Dragon Claw: Broken nails, painful joints in the hand, and general soreness ensues for at least 24 hours.
Chameleon Coloring: The skin is left irritated and burning, tends to peel off, and this can also cause quite the embarrassment.
Crocodile Skin Armor: The part of the body is left sore and skin tends to be scratchy and peel off.

MISC: Snake tattoo on his right index finger, and three silver helix piercings on his left ear. Owns a pet snake, an albino ball python named Sookie.
PERSONALITY: Eric has the devil-may-care attitude and the smirk for the ages. He is unable to take most responsibilities, and has a hard time staying on track of things. Yet once you’d gained his loyalty, he may prove to be quite the useful (and comedic) ally. Full of sassy remarks, one liners, and pickup lines that will have you pulling out your hair, it’s hard to tell if Eric is just very bad a being a bad boy or just really good at being a jerk with a heart of gold.

A failed womanizer, Eric is far too honest to actually be smooth with the ladies. His changes from self-deprecating to hotshot can be hard to follow, and his trust issues can be a pain in the ass, but he is all in all a simply guy who’s not so hard to please.

SECRET(S): Eric has a hard time keeping secrets. Oh, he wasn’t supposed to tell your parents about that time you went skinny dipping? My bad!

♦ THE HISTORY ♦

Eric was born in Sweden. To an absentee dad, and an exasperated mom. He was the youngest of three kids, his older sisters were twins and enjoyed poking fun at him. Of course, Eric was too damn cool to care. Or that was what he wanted everyone else to think. Of course, then came the big stretch, and once he was tall, nobody really bothered trying. Him and his sisters became close then, him becoming a sort of protector to them. Being middle class, the boy didn’t have any experience with drugs until his father began using all sorts of things to keep up with his stressful job. He was rarely a user, instead decided to pawn it off to the folk “in need.” Yeah, I know. Quite noble huh? Then at the ripe age of fifteen, his powers manifested when he finally got that pet snake he’d wanted for so long. Sookie. Sookie the snake. And suddenly, his eyes were changing, he was growing fangs. Just a fifteen year old boy in his room, watching feeding his pet snake a mouse, like any harmless kid his age. She had brushed on his arm, leaving behind a strange scaly pattern on the skin. It didn't rub off, and it was scratchy. Then the back of his eyes started to hurt, just this strange throbbing pain and then a pulling sensation as his lids fell. Once they were open, the world was blurry and two slitted pupils were staring back at him. His upper jaw hurt, a lot, it feel sore and sensitive. Like...a hardcore version of toothing as his fangs came out. And then his spine seemed to ache, and almost bend in his skin, as he grew a long snake tail appendage. The transformation could've been from twenty to thirty minutes of agonizing pain. But the morphing lasted just five minutes before his parents over heard the pained screams over the severely loud music. Eric was left scratching his body and his family was left scratching their heads. The recruiters found him, around two weeks after the incident. They just...somehow knew. Not that Eric didn't already have his reputation. He was on the streets, coming back from a deal or two, when they found him. Of course, the posh school in England was the suggestion. But with Eric's paranoid mother, she insisted that he would go to the one in Australia, as she had family there and his older cousin could watch over him and keep him from trouble. At least, that was her explanation. Maybe the real reason was that they just wanted him as far away as possible. And so he was sent off to the Sir Henry Barnet Academy in Australia. Eric thought they were just a bunch of hippies, but at least they bought his weed. Connecting to nature and all that good stuff.

And so the peace was once again broken when he was transferred, quite recently from the College of Sir Henry Barnet, to THIS merry place in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere. Absolutely nowhere. The whole reason for this magical transfer was his little run ins with the law. Despite Eric's best attempts to keep up his pride, his cousin in Australia, who he was staying at spilled the beans about an attempt at blackmail. A past buyer had gotten off the rails once he refused to sell more to him, due to his lack of apparent sanity. Of course, Daddy and Mommy dearest decided they had to clean up problem's child whole mess and paid off the blackmail, before relocating Eric with the promise that he'd never deal again. Of course, once Eric got to Oregon, a younger man saw him having a smoke outside. Soon all his tiny friends came over and boom, instant sensation. Perhaps it was the feeling of utter badassery or the habit, but Eric was quickly welcomed back into his own ways even before classes started. Where the frick is Oregon anyway? Please...don’t be a bunch of hippies.

Eric is currently studying at the College due to being a lazy, grumpy old man at 23 years old.
