Prudence Findlay Archer FACE CLAIM: Haley Lu Richardson♦ THE BASICS ♦ AGE: 19 GENDER: Female ORIENTATION: Unsure POSITION: College Student
♦ THE ABILITY ♦ POWER: Empathy The ability to sense, feel and understand the emotions of others through auras. Different colors give off different emotions, sort of like a mood ring.
LIMITATIONS: -Auras get fainter the farther away a person is and disappear if they are far enough away that the face is not visible -This leads to only a select few auras being seen and read clearly -Cannot actually manipulate the emotions or auras -Certain people with abilities (mental shields, suppressors, etc) don't show an aura
SIDE-EFFECTS: -Finn's partially color blind. It's more that the saturation of color for her is far dimmer than it is for others so that she can read an aura easier -Headaches are frequent and can lead to extreme migraines -If she's in a large group that are close by, she can get overwhelmed by the emotions and pass out -Depressive episodes are common -Panic attacks are also common

Confessions of a Boho Princess By: Finn Archer I'll be honest, I definitely googled ways to start a blog. This is my first one I've ever done and while I'm not super confident in it, I have hope that it will acquire a fanbase of some sort. Mostly, this is an outlet for creativity; an outlet for the me that I wish to show the world.
I think the best way to start is by simply beginning.
Here's a little snippet about yours truly before we get to the true fluff:
My given name is Prudence Findlay Archer, but I prefer to be called Finn. On the rarest of occasions I'll answer to Prue, but only my immediate family bothers to call me Prudence. Usually it's my older brother that enjoys to use it as some way to pick fun at me. It rarely works, I love him to bits and can't fathom ever being annoyed by him. In all of my nineteen years, I think we've fought a total of five times and four of them were when I was just learning to talk.
My parents raised us for the most part in England where Wesley and I were born. I come from a family of meta-humans, each and every one of them has an incredible ability, that somehow are all in tune with each other. A healer, a water manipulator and an Earth manipulator. And then there's me; an empath. It's sort of funny, I think, that we all fit together in some strange, spiritual way. My mother and my brother both are in tune with the elements while my father and I are in tune with the body and the soul. I was destined for this lifestyle.
I suppose you're wondering how I came to manifest my ability, well, it was with Wesley that it happened. My brother is not very forward with his emotions, not by any stretch of the imagination. He covers up what he can with sarcasm and jokes, both of which I'd come to understand, but I had never fully comprehended what was behind them. I was only eleven and he had been out of the house for quite some time by that point. In school we had been crafting and I made him this silly necklace out of leather and a painted pasta shell because I was eleven and thought it was the best thing ever.
When I gave it to him, he poked fun at it, pretended like it was something completely ridiculous (which it was), it was the strangest thing though because as he picked and poked fun, it was like this misty fog developed around him almost like the way a mood ring shifts colors when someone different touches it. It was a serene blue and I just knew that he loved it with everything inside of him. He still has it, although I made him a wooden charm in place of the painted noodle.
It was about three days before recruiters came to our home. None of us were surprised, I'd already filled my whole family in on what was happening. It was sporadic at best, but I've really started honing in on it.
St. Bethany's is where I started schooling, I was familiar with it because of Wesley. He was always bragging about how great he did there, and I whole heartedly believe it. He's incredibly smart and very charming. It runs in our family. I didn't stay at St. Bethany's for long, though, as the mutants were exposed. I was told it was precautionary, although, I had never really minded the move. America, it doesn't have quite the same feeling about it, but it is wonderful in its own way and I've enjoyed my time at Bellefonte thus far.
My ability still needs a little work, so I stayed put for college. Wesley is nearby, and so are Mum and Dad with our next little Archer soon to join. I think that's all there is to know for now.
Until next time friends,
Finn
