Adena had never liked having roommates. And honestly, they never really liked her. She was loud. She was messy; she left her shit everywhere in their common area and never put any effort into cleaning up after herself. She had always lived like there didn't need to be any common decency between roommates, because why would there be?
After getting up early and doing her usual workout routine, she'd come back to the space they shared for a quick shower. Then it was time to air out all her baseball gear. What better place to do so than the space just in front of Gwin's door? Shirts and gloves and baseball bats lined themselves up a little too perfectly to be a mere accident, but that didn't matter.
When she finally heard one of her roommates open their door, she raised a hand from the couch and waved at her. "Yo, don't knock my shit around." She said quickly, dropping her hand back to her phone again.

Gwin had had another bad night. Filled with nightmares, sweats, shivers, nausea. And all because of her visions. She had stopped trying to remember what they were about any more, they didn't matter to her. When she finally dragged her sorry ass put of bed, hair matted and slick with sweat, her shirt soaks from her perspiration. She didn't was the energy to deal with Adenas shit today.
Her only response to the girls words was to kick the kit out of the way, making her way over to the little counter so she could make herself a drink. Her blood shot eyes seemed to be struggling to focus, and a couple of times she had to stead herself against the work top

God, Gwin was so dramatic, wasn't she? Adena didn't bother looking at her as she'd pointed out the strewn around gear because she didn't think she'd have to. This chick was major when it came to noises in the middle of the night. She'd sleep till midday if she had a choice, Adena was sure.
Adena didn't need to look to hear the sound of her belongings going astray. That was cool, actually. She wouldn't pick them up till she planned to wear them again. Gwin would have figured that out by now if she ever paid mind to her Canadian roommate.
Sitting up, Adena swung herself over the back of the couch, fingers dropping down to pick up the nearby bat and inspect the wood cautiously. Raising the bat to point towards her roommate, she finally looked at her; "You look fucked up, babe."
