Laughing, the brunette lifted her hands defensively. "My lips will remain sealed." She even moved her hands, motioning a zipper shutting her lips. She knew when not to push something and the fact that she'd managed to get the blonde this far was a win in itself. She had no issues with stopping there.
"Though, I'm not sure your threat sounds too bad..." She walked over to one of the closets and opened it. Running her fingers through a few of the clothing items, she pulled out a black corset. "I did win, after all." Putting the corset aside, she returned her attention to the closet.
Offering her companion of the night the most innocent shrug she could possibly muster, Alice smiled. "What can I say? I live to impress." By impress, she meant challenge, of course. The blonde didn't need to know that, though. They had the entire locale to themselves for the night, so what was the harm, really?
Tapping a finger to her cheek, she looked around the room. "Well." She wondered if she'd offer the blonde flats or simply go for heels and hope for the best. That was an issue for later, though.
Turning so that she could face the blonde properly, Alice spread her arms out. "So, are you game or what?"
The way the blonde's smile dropped only had the brunette laughing. It was a nice feeling, she supposed, being able to keep people on their toes. "Time to change that, then." She declared with ease. Opening the door to the dressing room, she gestured for Emmett to walk in first.
The room was medium sized, one wall lined with mirrors and chairs. Various items of burlesque clothing strewn all over, some folded, some carelessly tossed over chairs and other furniture. All marked with names.
Alice took a moment to size the blonde up; Size didn't matter as much with corsets, since they could be both tightened and loosened, but the other gear... "Do you wear high heels?"
Pulling out her key, Alice opened the door. She stepped through it and reached for the light. It was easy to find, even in the darkness. The locale was closed for the night; the owner had a business trip they needed to attend and gave the girls working here a few days off. But most of them still came here to practice new routines.
The lights flickered on, revealing a small hallway leading to three doors; a dressing room, a bathroom and a storage.
"Welcome to my favorite place in the whole world." She offered, gesturing towards the dressing room. She chuckled then, skipping forward before turning. "I hope you don't mind wearing a corset."
Alice laughed. That really would have been the better option, though the brunette had already set her mind to a different place. "It's not." She said honestly. "You'll see."
She guided the blonde down the street, and a few minutes passed before they reached their destination. She pointed at a door in one of the alleyways that lead into the side of one of the buildings. "That's the staff entrance." She explained as she moved towards the door.
She thought about it for a moment. There was plenty of places she could have picked. She had her favorite spots, like most did, but out of all of them, there was only one place she could pick.
"I know the perfect place." It was inside, warm and the chances of running into any exes was small. At least, up until this point Alice hadn't met any.
She gestured for the blonde to follow. "It's pretty close, too."
Had she been a better person, she might have stopped herself from looking as smug as she did. As the blonde moved, Alice sat up. She managed to stifle the laugh, but not her amused expression.
Taking the offered hand, the telekinetic pushed herself up. She brushed the snow that had yet to melt off of her clothes. "Ah, you flatter me so."
Brown eyes followed the movement with part interest and part curiosity. Though she should have worried about the cold, she didn't. It was the furthest from her mind. Granted,. it helped having a human shield covering most of her body.
She didn't mind, of course. In fact, she actually preferred it.
With the little movement she was granted, Alice shrugged. "What can I say?" She offered, "I never claimed to be one to play fair." She let the tendrils drop the snow down, most of it falling to the wayside, though, some seemed to slip right down where she'd intended; hopefully causing some form of reaction.
And even the telekinetic couldn't stop the wicked grin that appeared on her lips. "Oops."
She didn't really agree with the girl, but decided against commenting. Each to their own and all that.
Looking at the blonde, Alice had to admit that she had the perfect body type for burlesque. She honestly doubted it would be something she'd end up putting a lot of time into, given how much time she wanted to put into her studies, but what was the harm?
"Great." Alice said, smiling. She swirled around then. "Might as well get going then." She put her arm around the blonde, giving her a slight nudge in the direction they were to head. "I have the perfect costume for you, too."
Finishing her own drink, Alice settled for just the one and ordered herself a soda. Without alcohol, of course. She did have a job she needed to get back to, after all. While she didn't enjoy following rules, she didn't exactly want to be drunk while teaching.
Even she wasn't quite that foolish.
A chuckle escaped the brunette's lips. "I can't say I'm surprised." She shot back, head tilting as she thanked the bartender for her drink. "And I honestly doubt you'll say anything I haven't heard before, but here's to hoping." She raised her glass in a cheer before taking a sip.
Alice had always considered herself a very stubborn and prideful being, but even she couldn't help but be smitten by the burst of laughter. She even ignored the biting cold that started seeping through her clothes; Neither of them had been dressed for a snowball fight, but those were thoughts the telekinetic could worry about later.
"Don't bring a knife to a gunfight, Em." She fired back. Telekinetic tendrils moved, brushing against the blonde's figure. A frown formed between the brunette's eyes as she focused. She could have chosen the easy path and simply pushed the blonde off, but what was the fun in that?
Snow lifted and one of the telekinetic tendrils reached for the hem of the shirt the blonde was wearing.
It was in such moments that Alice thanked her ability. It had been a pain in the ass, but at the very least, it gave her an upper hand in most things. Of course, she hadn't counted in the fact that some people had the ability to react far beyond her own ability. She might have been able to toss more snowballs, but she couldn't even begin to keep up with the blonde.
Unless she managed to keep her distance, of course. That was the only way she'd ever be able to win.
Naturally, the blonde had other plans. Alice should have expected it, but the fact remained; She didn't. Even as her own snowballs had hit, she'd felt herself grow cocky and confident, almost tasting the victory at the back of her tongue. The snowballs flying in her direction offered the blonde the distraction she'd needed and before Alice could react, she found herself on the ground, snow everywhere.
A soft 'oof' escaped the brunette's lips and she opened her eyes, mouth quirking in a smile. "You're such a tramp!"
The snowball hit her before she even had the time to react. She had expected a response, something, anything that would indicate the girl was playing along, but there was none. "Hey!" She called out, a grin splayed over her lips. "That's how you wanna play it?"
Ducking behind cover, Alice knelt down and started creating balls of snow; She had a secret weapon too. Lining up six balls, she picked up two with her hands and the other four with her telekinetic power. Her head popped up, looking for wherever Emmett had decided to locate herself.
She couldn't help the grin that swept over her lips. "You mean, more so than what being a yoga instructor requires of me?" It was often how the male population reacted to finding out what she did for a living, though, this guy seemed to do it with more childlike glee rather than perversion. That, or he was better at hiding it.
Taking another swig from the horrible drink, Alice made herself more comfortable in her seat; Which wasn't an easy fet. "Hm," she mused out loud. "You'd have to take that up with my boss." She looked at him then, eyebrows raised. "Unless you're willing to pay more than he does, and you're not, I guess you're just going to have to settle for imagining it." She tossed a smirk his way as she placed the drink on the bar, waving the bartender over.
Alice had never liked the cold; She'd always preferred the sun and the heat over the cold and the snow, but even she had to admit that the snow had its charm. The way the snow lay heavily on the branches and glittered in the light... Well, it looked almost magical.
Skipping a few steps down the path, the telekinetic whirled around, arms stretched high. "Everything!" She smiled at that, almost childishly: She could feel the spurs of youth and energy mix together within her veins. She really wanted to do everything.
Lowering her hands, she grew a tad more somber, though the smile remained. "Let's have a snowball fight."
