Plumping down on the seat next to his friend, Isaac didn't waste his breath: "Roadtrip." He simply stated, eyebrows rising. "You, me." He gestured between the two, then turned his gaze towards the rest of the courtyard, head tilting as if he was considered. "Do you have any other friends?" He asked then. "'Cause I don't."
He did have friends, of course. Most of which he wouldn't bring on a roadtrip and he wasn't exactly going to make it easy on his other blonde counterpart by bringing his twin sister - though, she would hate him for leaving her out of it.
"And camping." He added, leaning back. "And not fancy-hotel-camping. Outdoor camping."

Carter took a moment or two to register Isaac's presence before he heard the words on offer. Looking at the familiar blonde, Carter certainly wouldn't peg him for the type to enjoy the outdoors. Then again, if he himself wasn't a terrakinetic, people probably wouldn't guess it of him either.
"None I would invite to something like this." He admitted then, shrugging his shoulders lightly; "I wouldn't say no if you brought your sister, though." The grin he wore was instantaneous.

"Funny guy." He drawled, propping his elbows up against the table of their seatings. Though, he wasn't sure which he'd feel more sorry for: Carter or his sister if the two ever actually met. While his sister carried a nature that most would call innocent, she was anything but.
"That leaves us at quite a disadvantage, doesn't it?" He mused, blue eyes turning towards the courtyard, where more and more students were flowing out of the school. Likely to enjoy the few moments of spring before their next class. "What are you doing for spring break?"

"Oh, y'know, pulling double shifts at the local diner." Carter replied simply, like he really meant it. Of course he didn't have a job. For someone like Carter, working while studying was just a blatant waste of time.
"And by that I of course mean that I have no plans. I imagine it'll be crazy at the usual bar." And that was likely where he'd end up.

A roll of his eyes was all Isaac bothered to offer at that; He knew very well that Carter, like many rich kids, didn't need to work. While Isaac didn't have the fortune Carter's family had, he was well off enough that he didn't have to either.
"Then that's even better of a reason to do something different." He offered. "Don't you get bored of doing the same thing over and over?" He'd never known the blonde to be one to settle for something so mundane, though, the bar was the better option, he'd admit, if one didn't have any plans to begin with.

It surprised him to hear someone like Isaac go against the norm like that. Considering the bar was where he'd found him when he first moved back in, he was surprised to say the least that he
"And camping is the solution to all that?" He said with a laugh, waving his hand at the fact. It didn't sound like the first thing someone would think of, but that was one of the things he liked about Isaac. "Do you even own... A tent?" It was the first thing he could think of. Actually, it was the only thing.

"I don't." He said, shrugging as if it didn't really matter if he did or not. That wasn't a problem for now. He could deal with that later. Besides, he couldn't very well go camping by himself, so it would have been a waste of his time to get a tent beforehand.
He looked at the other blonde, eyebrows raised in question. "Do you?"

Carter had to laugh at his inability to prepare for his own events. Of course, anyone could go out a source a tent in a second, but he didn't have one, so it must have been a spur of the moment thought.
"No, but if I'm being honest, I wouldn't need one." Though it felt incredibly tomb-like, he knew he could build something to sleep in with a lot more ease than most. "I could make you a pretty decent fortress on the fly, if you'd like."

He considered that for a moment before he grimaced. "You might enjoy the smell of earth and dirt, but I don't." No, he'd much rather prefer the comforts of staying inside a tent where all the insects and poison ivy wouldn't get him. "Or we could rent a cabin." He continued, pondering.
Of course, all the planning in the world would be moot unless they managed to find people to join them. He offered the blonde a sidelong glance. "Why don't you have any friends?"
Though, he could have asked himself the same thing.

Carter shrugged his shoulders at the idea of a cabin. He couldn't care either way, but that was definitely something he could go for. But at the question of his lack of friendship, he had to laugh, wondering if he expected a real, thoughtful answer.
"Because I moved away from here. And they mostly graduated and left." Or perhaps they were never really friends to begin with. He knew he didn't need to say that though. He glanced at him then, wondering what sort of reaction that honesty might give. "I also have a bad reputation. No one believes I want to be their friends. And the one other person I regularly talk to is someone I don't want to be friends with."

Isaac could relate to what the blonde was saying on more levels than one. Of course, while he had a few friends here and there, he knew that there was little point in feeling bad about having few friends. He wasn't the easiest person to get along with - and he'd never pretended to be, either.
"Hm." He simply mused. "Guess we'll just have to invite a couple of non-friends then." He stretched his arms above his head before shrugging. "Or go on a roadtrip. Just the two of us." He wouldn't have minded either way. While the prospect of getting down and dirty in the woods was preferable, he didn't think spending some quality time with the one guy he'd consider a friend to be a bad thing either.

Though Carter knew his tone was light and a little humoured, he also knew there was obvious truth to what he said. He wouldn't usually be the type to open up, but Isaac carried a similar kind of reputation. He was probably the only person Carter knew who would understand exactly what he was saying. His silence made that clear enough.
"I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a few non-friends to join us." Carter mused then, genuinely considering the ideas proposed as opposed to just shooting them down as he had. "I mean, if you pick a holiday weekend, you can probably find people who are also camping. We could merge camps."

"See, this is why you're the brains, and I'm the beauty." He stood then, hands sliding into his pockets as he looked at the man who'd only seconds before been sitting right next to him. Even Isaac couldn't help the grin on his face.
"Let's not invite the she-devil, though." He said. "I'd rather not compete for your attention more than I already have to - or watch her murder our entire party." Without waiting for a response, Isaac started moving, his hand raising to offer the other blonde a wave.
"Ta-ta!"

Though Carter wasn't entirely sure if he'd actually come up with a plan good enough to execute, he would take a compliment where it was given.
His mind quickly built the image of the person they were talking about.
"Actually... I do have one friend. She's more like a sister-type, really." He admitted, despite how it was clear that Isaac was on his way out. He wondered if that little snippet of information was enough to make him stay.

It was such an odd thing to imagine that it had him stopping in his tracks. And it made him wonder what a girl had to do - or look like to be considered 'a sister-type'.
If Carter had meant to make him curious, he'd succeeded, because within seconds, he found himself seated by the blonde once more.
"Do pray tell."
